Desi K. Bognár is an internationally renown author and film director, known for his International Dictionary of Broadcast and Film as well as Famous Hungarians. He left Hungary in 1956 after experiencing the Hungarian revolution first-hand. He has lived and traveled throughout the world, settling in Sarasota, Florida with his wife Katalin Szentpály (her interview is also part of Memory Project.
